Founded in Ghana in 2017 and now based in the United Kingdom, NSHELA brings authentic native fashion closer to its global community. The brand's founder, Lydia Ama Toku, is a UK-trained professional fashion designer who began as a self-taught sewer. She is also the creator of Diaspora in Vogue, a craft exhibition and fashion show celebrating designers from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
